I am especially drawn to large form pieces, such as vases, urns, and jars. Soon, I hope to start making homegoods like lamps and pendants!

I was born and raised in the town that the musical OKLAHOMA! is set in! 

A Bit About Me: 

Kody brings a unique perspective to the pottery wheel, blending his background as a philosopher with a hands-on approach to teaching. After his Ph.D. studies, he shifted his passion for teaching from the classroom to the studio, apprenticing with master potters across Colorado. Through his studio, Leland Ceramics, Kody has helped countless students discover the joy of creating with their hands. He's found that nothing compares to the excitement of a student who has just made a piece they're truly proud of.
